Title: Disconnect License in 3.1
Post by: lcollier2459 on April 02, 2013, 05:40:46 pm
We have 1 full license of 3.1 in our office.  I know in 2.5 I could work in the free version to learn and figure out things.  Now that we have upgraded I can't seem to get back to the free version if our license is being used.  Is there a setting file I need to override to work in free?

Hi  lcollier2459

This works with the licensed version of 2.5. Please see if helps for the Free version, otherwise will ask Arthur.

If you would like to Activate Lumion 2.5:
license key (for v3) + your account/forum password

Don't forget of course to de-activate Lumion v2.5 when want to go back to v3.

As Lumion v.31 Free version is now available you could download that if you want to use it for learning and keeping your licensed version for production only, in that way its the most up-to-date version.

Note that we also released a 3.1 FREE version, which you can get here: http://lumion3d.com/free/ (http://lumion3d.com/free/)

If you want to use 2.5:
You cant easily switch back to FREE with a login where you registered a license. You should use an account where no license has been registered and activate 2.5 with that account.

Yes, Lumion Free 3.1 is much smaller as it doesn't include many of the models/materials/sounds.

Also, Lumion v3.1.0 Free is available just from the Lumion Free web page (http://lumion3d.com/free/) sign-up form and no longer as a download from your Customer Area.

Currently all fields are required to have information entered on that form.   You can choose to enter what you like, so long as a valid email address is entered as you will be emailed the download link.

The Free version is only 532MB.

When you run the download manager it is best in Windows to Run As Administrator.
