Title: White/Transparent Background?
Post by: madnix on February 15, 2013, 08:19:52 am
Hello guys!

Recently I have started using Lumion Free Version and have been playing around with some basic renders.

I have been happy with the results, however I would like to know if it is possible to save rendered images with a white or transparent background? That way these images could be forged over photos taken etc.

I have also noticed this: http://lumion3d.com/forum/gallery/cg-agricultural-buildings/ (http://lumion3d.com/forum/gallery/cg-agricultural-buildings/)

And was wondering how the user produced the first image with the edged block.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

There are different ways to output of depth-maps, normalmaps, lighting map, sky alpha map. With this latter one, you can get a transparent sky (but not terrain or props) that you can use to merge with other images.

See the specs page for more info: http://lumion3d.com/specs/ (http://lumion3d.com/specs/)
