Title: Change material below another in an object
Post by: gtimages on December 09, 2014, 06:29:52 pm
Ok I'm a newbie,
I import an .obj file into lumion.
I want to edit a material for an object but it has another object on top.
For example. I have a swimming pool. I can edit the material for the water (it's on top), how do I then select the pool walls, (it is below).
This must be easy but I can't find the answer.
Thanks

Hi gtimages, can't you move the camera closer to the pool walls in order to edit the material?

Hi gtimages

Adding to what Morten mentioned; sometimes the camera will move too fast or past the surface you want.

But you can control the speed of the camera so that even very close surfaces can be selected.  See LUMION 5: Keyboard shortcuts (http://forum.lumion3d.com/f-a-q/lumion-5-keyboard-shortcuts/).
