Title: SNAP IMPORT - COPY MATERIAL DIFFEREND MODEL
Post by: dirkdesor on December 21, 2012, 09:04:44 pm
Hello we work now with Lumion 3.01 and we are urgently looking for the following functions:

First
When inserting multiple model need to have the ability to define an insertion point. One would, for example, can catch the insertion point. It is hardly ever possible to add the individual models together.

Second
We need the opportunity for linear light strip - For LED strips. Is this possible?

Third
Textures can be copied to other areas?

Greeting DD

Know its probably not exactly what you need but just insert/Place then select object -> Properties and update the X,Y,Z to suit your needed insertion point.

To set individual models together, have you tried using Align?

There are no linear/area light sources in Lumion. You can, however, add IES lights or 360 degree point lights.

If you just want some strip lights to appear to be lit/glowing, you can add a Color or Standard material to the model and set the Overbright/Emissiveness sliders to high values.

Textures can be copied to other areas?
Please read the paragraph about the 'Load/Save Material Set function' in this thread:

You can also copy/paste and save/load Standard materials:
