Title: Doubt about Lumion realistic render
Post by: Christinne on November 21, 2014, 12:17:07 pm
Hi,

I`m searching for a new software to help me rendering faster and I have some questions about Lumion.

I need to render small objects (macro) like a screw or a hammer with high resolution and using a realistic texture. And I would like to know if this kind of render is possible and usefull on Lumion or if it`s only possible for architecture projects.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hi Christinne, it is possible to render close-ups of screws in Lumion, but Lumion is indeed designed for larger scale projects.

Which 3D modelling application are you using?

I would recommend contacting your local reseller and asking them to send you a 7-day trial version of Lumion 4.5.1.

You can import your models in this version and see if Lumion is suitable for the product visualisations you have in mind.

there is always the possibility to skale your models up so lumion can render them better

Show us an example of what you want to achieve, then we can tell you if it's possible or not...
