When you upload to youtube you can select an option to indicate the movie is stereoscopic. The output form Lumion is side by side and the youtube player plays the movie in the right format. It lets you select between NVIDIA 3D Vision or red/cyan and other formats for example.

Hi openass,

On the Lumion specifications page (http://lumion3d.com/specs/), it is advertised as:
3D output for side-by-side stereoscopic 3D playback

Here's some more information about this 3D format:
http://www.best-3dtvs.com/what-is-side-by-side-3d/ (http://www.best-3dtvs.com/what-is-side-by-side-3d/)

As Remko says, you need to upload the rendered side-by-side stereoscopic MP4 file to YouTube:

When you upload to youtube you can select an option to indicate the movie is stereoscopic. The output form Lumion is side by side and the youtube player plays the movie in the right format. It lets you select between NVIDIA 3D Vision or red/cyan and other formats for example.

For a 3d tv you need a 3d player that can convert the side by side format to the one your tv needs. There are probably video format converters out there too.

LG tvs accept the side-by-side format. Just look for the SBS option in the menu.

And you can convert Lumion's side-by-side videos to Red/Cyan anaglyph for offline use. Just follow these steps:

-Save as image sequence from Lumion.
-Convert the sequence to an .avi video using VirtualDub (http://www.virtualdub.org/download.html (http://www.virtualdub.org/download.html)).
-Open the SBS video in StereoMovieMaker (http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stvmkr/ (http://stereo.jpn.org/eng/stvmkr/)) using the settings in the first image I'm attaching below.
-Save the anaglyph video using the settings in the second image I'm attaching.

If you have any other question, just ask.

I am unable to find the stereoscopic output settings in Lumion 3.0.1, is this option still available?
