Title: Some Help Pls with show/hide layers
Post by: Vas on February 02, 2011, 09:37:16 pm

I am planning to do an flythrough animation of a building being constructed which has got 15 phases. I got a baseplan model and 15 different models of the actual building.

What will be the best way to put this together in Lumion and record a flythrough, let's say about 3 - 5 mins showing the building being constructed.

Thanks a lot guys..

There are 5 layers so that means you can switch on and off 5 models in 1 Lumion movie. You can of course create multiple versions of the project to do they all and create more then 1 movie. How the layers work is that you press CTRL or you enable advanced options on in the settings menu. Then in build mode place each model in a different layer on the correct position.

Then in the movie effects add hide layer and hide the layers in the movie you do not want to see per clip.

Thanks Ferry,

If possible in future updates can you add more layers?

Well maybe we can instead of more layers just offer a different method to change your model.

Like a movie effect that does reload model for you on a different file name.
