Title: Eurostation
Post by: jlnsvfx on August 03, 2012, 08:38:38 pm
This scene is a project where I wanted to create a large space with multiple light sources from sunlight.  A trainstation seemed to be the right place for this concept.

Train Station modeled in 3dsMax
Set-up took several days in Max and Lumion
Renderings took 30 seconds - 3840 x 2160
Nvidia GeForce GTX 580
People were created in Photoshop

Wow cool interior in harmony with the good-rays effect, it remind me some of Calatrava's works ;)
Well done Julian, It seems to be huge model. What about an animation?
(a little careful with the cutout people reflection some mistake there :D, the man with the yellow bag, just for fun ;) 3rd render)

yes - thanks, animation is under way.  I had to fix some issues with reflections - got them fixed and will be done over the weekend.  I'll post as soon as it is done.
God rays looked the best in the animation vs still shots.

thanks,

Cool! Too bad Godrays in Lumion suck so bad when you want them a bit longer then 2cm.
Maybe they can fix that. Can't think of any reason why not.
Nothing you could do...well, cut them off maybe..dunno. Bad godrays, no godrays...bluh.

Hi,  Would you be interested in creating an animation for a project I am working on?  The deadline is tight but it pays well.  It is a video for a competition entry in China that I am working on. If you are interested please contact me at [email protected] and I can give you more details. Thanks
