Hi,today i uninstalled 2.2(free) and installed 2.5(free). Can't login? 2.2 worked befor uninstall...

When trying to type User and password att loginscreen it says; Incorrect Login. I'm using the same login as i am using on the lumion web. /P

Hi Petter, it turns out that you're not really supposed to be able to use @ in your profile name, since we use that character for a special [email protected] login option.

Unfortunately it is not possible to change forum profile names, so for now, we recommend that you simply create a new forum account and log in with that.

Arthur will change the domain login system and the forum profile creation procedure, so that we avoid situations like this in the future.

hello, im just new here and want to try lumion 2.5, i started using the first lumion and haven't used lumion 2.1 or 2.2. i tried several times entering my user and password here to the login screen when using lumion 2.5 but it always say error connecting.

do i have to do something else? im having trouble on not being able to use the application. please help..thanks!

We are sorry you cannot log in. It's hard for us to determine exacly why you can't log in. Maybe with some more information we can help you. What is the error you get?

If you get an error about a wrong password you can try changing your password.

Does it say "LOGINFAILED"?

If not, it means that there is something wrong with the internet connection on your PC.

In other words, the problem may be caused by your firewall, your router or your hosts file:

1) Please double-check that your Windows firewall (and any other 3rd party firewalls are not blocking Lumion.

2) Also, your router should be allowed to access port 80 (HTTP) when activating Lumion.

3) And finally, you might want to check that you're not blocking internet access for Lumion in the Windows hosts file (right-click on this file and open it in Notepad):

c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

If you get this error it means your password is wrong. We should never exclude the possibility that there's a strange software bug causing the system not to accept your password ofcourse.

To change your password you can do two things:
1. Click "Lost your password?" on the login screen
2. Go to account settings if you are logged in and just enter a new password

Here's another tip when you can't log in:
Recently we added support for domains for logging in and when you have a @ in your user name this means the system thinks you are logging in on a domain.

Ofcourse we will update the system to fix this error but in the mean while there is a good way to work around this: Just enter the Lumion License code as your login name. This way you can still log in. You can find your license code in the Account Settings page.

1) Ok this is GOOD. This means you can access the authentication server on your computer and everything si working fine.

2) This does not matter since 1) is working so you should be good to go

3) Same as 2)

So we can conclude you can log in but the system is not accepting your password. The best way to proceed is to change your password and use that password and try again. Maybe your password contains some weird characters which throws the system off. Try using a password with normal letters and numbers.

My problem was that previously to the Pro version I always put my Login name: nicolasweh and works Login Ultimate without any problem at all.

I think this problem is caused by recent added support for floating licenses and multiple licenses per user. Apparently some usernames confuse the login process. When you use your key instead of your user name it should work.

Hi,

I also have the login problem. Now I have 2.5 profession version of Lumion. I have the user name , the product key and the password. For the time being,  I would like to UPGRADE the 2.5 version into the 3.0 version. What should I do?

Please kindly tell me in Step 1, Step2, Step3 and so on.

Hi Philip, I assume you received an email from Act-3D with the 2.5 and 3.0 license keys.

The 2.5 and 3.0 license key do not yet seem to be attached to your forum account (fier), so you can't activate Lumion.

1) Please register the 2.5 license key in your Account settings:

2) Start up Lumion 2.5 and activate it with the 2.5 license key in the login field and your forum password in the password field.

3) Regarding your 3.0 license key, you can enter the 3.0 license key in the Upgrade field next to the 2.5 license key in the Account settings.

However, since Lumion 3 has not yet been released, you can't actually use Lumion 3.0 yet, so please use Lumion 2.5 until Lumion 3.0 has been released.

Dear Admin,
I would like also to try Lumion 2.5 Free Demo version, i have registered as a member and downloaded the free demo version. i installed it in my laptop but can not open the program and keep on asking for the log in and password. i would appreciate if you could help me solve this matter. thanks

Hi ronald621, it's very easy to start Lumion Free since you don't need an activation key.

Simply start Lumion 2.5 and type your forum user name in the login field (ronald621) and your forum password in the password field.

I have my login username and password..is it different between password for this forum and password for lumion 2.5?? I change my password to 12 digits but it always change again to 10 digits that I don't know, so I can't open lumion 2.5..
what should I do??
