Title: Does Lumino work with multi threading?
Post by: [email protected] on June 19, 2012, 07:33:08 pm
Hi!

It seems that Lumion works with only one thread and i have 12 threads. Is it possible to work with only one thread?

Other thing someone as 12 Go RAM of memory and when He imports a DWG model, Lumion can use 11 Go of memory!!!

What can we do with that?

Thinks a lot

Hi Gaëtan, Ferry says that Lumion does use multi-threading for certain tasks.

Other thing someone as 12 Go RAM of memory and when He imports a DWG model, Lumion can use 11 Go of memory!!!

Try to import the model in smaller parts, and use the Align command in the Context Menu.

Arthur says that it uses multi-threading when compressing the images/MP4 files during rendering.
