Title: interior places
Post by: campanella on January 17, 2011, 10:36:32 am
Hi, I have a glass surfaced tunnel between two buildings 4mt above the ground with benches and walking people inside. It is really hard to place objects inside of it, they all snap outside walls, I have to place everything first at the top of it and then move them down. It becomes harder when they animate, animated objets force themselves to snap outside of the tunnel again and they fly away :). Is there a way to place objects inside of other objects wihtout snap?

I am not sure why this happens. There is no snap functionality yet in Lumion. Maybe placing the camera a little different already fixes your problem?

If not can you provide your model to us?

I think what he means is the collision detection. You must move your camera inside the tunnel and then place the people by drag and drop into the tunnel, that should work. If you are standing outside the tunnel and the people will stand on the top of it.
