Title: Error had stopped working

Hi,

I installed Lumion Free a few days ago and it worked perfectly. I did a fews works to the college and it was great. But today I oppened Lumion and when I am in the projects screen (sometimes even before I get there) and click to open a project, appears a PopUp telling me that "Lumion has stopped working".

I even managed to open a project (once" today, but after a few seconds happens the same thing.

Sometimes appers a different message, saying something like "memory could not be written".

Does anyone knows what is it?


And, if there isn't a way to solve it (only by reinstalling it) is there a way to make a backup of the projects I did?


My config is:
Windows 8.1
Core i7 3770
GTX Titan
16 Gb RAM

Hi casarosa

Thanks for your interest in Lumion.

Your PC specifications especially the GPU is more than adequate for Lumion, and as you note is has been working OK.  However, messages such as the memory one sound serious and indicate some issues with the GPU.

What is the NVIDIA driver version?  NVIDIA Control Panel --> lower left System Information.

Please Save the details and attach the text file to a post.  Also please run DXDiag (Windows Start --> Run --> DXDiag and Save All Information to file and attach to a post.

At this stage there is no need to consider re-installing the software.

You can backup Lumion data ( scenes and imported objects) by backing up all files in folder My Documents\Lumion Free.
