What is the best format to export a model from Google SketchUp in your experience?

The Collada exporter in SketchUp works well.

However, you need to install the very latest version of SketchUp. It was updated in November 2011, and it's crucial that you use this version as the Collada exporter in previous versions didn't work so well when you needed to update models.

Here's how to export scenes to Collada format:

Thank you for your suggestion about exporting tutorial.
I learned something useful about SketchUp export options!

My SketchUp version is 8.0.11752. It is the latest one, as far as I know.
