Title: Museum in Barcelona MACBA (WIP)

This is a little video of one of my favourite buildings: The MACBA museum in Barcelona. There are some errors in the geometry due to a poor export. Hopefully nothing I can't repair. I still want to model a better geometry (it's a little low poly) model the real surroundings and finish the mapping trying to give it a used look.

I've been working yesterday on the materials and a little bit on the interior (making normal maps with crazy bump ROCKS!)
 Working on the mapping of the leaks on the walls I encountered a problem. I have given some elements the same material and mapped separately the edges with dust and some leaks. When I import the scene the maps are 30 cm under the original position but the mapping scale and position is ok for every element only a little bit offset.

If I try to modify the position of the texture it won't let me. I first have to vary the scale a little bit and then I can offset the texture. The problem is that it acts as if all elements with the same material were mapped with one and the same box mapping instead of one mapping per different element as I have on the model.
 It's like a mapping override for the whole material in the scene occurs if I try to modify the position.

Strange...

Do you guys have any tips on exporting/importing from 3DMax?

I'll need more information to be able to help you with this problem. A good start would be 2 screenshots that show what it looks like in 3DS Max and in Lumion (You may want to post this question in a separate thread to avoid hijacking your own Gallery entry thread :)).

This is intended behaviour. There are two texture mapping modes in Lumion: You can either use the imported texture coordinates or Lumion's automatic texture mapping system.

The way you switch between these modes is via the Scale slider in the Standard material. Scale = 0 means that the imported texture coordinates are used. Scale > 0 means that the automatic texture mapping system is used (This is explained when you open a Standard material, and place the mouse cursor above the blue question mark button in the lower right corner).

Do you guys have any tips on exporting/importing from 3DMax?

your exteriors look really awesome.. please share the weather settings.. i am planning to make a white building and your settings can help a great lot in that...
