Title: Advanced animation help
Post by: Architectural Innovation on March 12, 2012, 01:13:48 pm
I have an animation clip that i slowed down to .4 speed. trying to animate objects is very odd because i cant figure out how to adjust the speed of the object properly to fit the length of the whole clip.

not sure if you understand what im asking, but i could make an example if you need. I am just trying to animate cars and people on the clips that have been slowed down in the clip speed setting.

thanks,

bob

Hi Bob, let's say that you've got 20 second clip that you have added an Advanced Animation effect to. If you want the animation to be the same length as your clip, you have to adjust the animation lenght in the lower left corner of the Advanced Animation effect, so that it says "Max 20s".

Adding keyframes to the beginning and end of the timeline in the Advanced Animation effect will then correspond to the beginning and end of the clip.

Is this what you mean?

No, you'd have to change the "Max 20s" that I mentioned in my example above to whatever the new clip length is.
