Quest3d can make Exe file and Lumion not.
Now it's comprehensible to see why Lumion it could not generate EXE file.:-D :-D

YEs other than the exe, what's the difference... It looks more confusing than lumion in my opinion.

Quest 3D is designed to make games, interactive contents... Quest 3D require qualification in programming.
Lumion 3D is designed to make movies easily.

From what I read.
Quest3D-5 is now multi GPU.
This gives us hope that will work Lumion also several video cards simultaneously in the future.

The good thing about Quest 3D is that yes, you can make exe and send to the customer...write your own shaders and customize more or less lots of things if you're into programming...

Thats why I have the feeling that Lumion will never have the exe feature  :-P

Or, better, I think that a dedicated plugin just for the exe will be announced, but I think that will be quite expansive, otherwise people will just buy Lumion and not Quest 3D...

Tough decision to make...

Just a bit confusing...must be somebody sittin on old code somewhere...not sure what I'm talkin about....it's from writing (code) yourself into a corner.
If the intellectual property is not shared weird things happen. Sometimes the root code is just not documented...might be held together at the lowest level by one guy in a dark room.......rantings of a lunatic....don't pay any attention, :-D :-D

I wish there was some sort of coalesce.

will there be speed tree in quest 3d 5 ?
and will there be a possibility to upgrade from lumion to quest3d 5.0 ?

and now i think its clear why lumion didnt get exe-publishing, even if possible without problems.
(lumion is developped inside quest3d 5.0) even it was promised sometime ago......

A Speedtree license + Quest3D integration will be sold separately. I will be available later.
There is no upgrade path from Lumion to Quest3D 5 as they are different products.

Thanks to all of you  !!

I 'll give Quest3D a try...
I love Lumion, but I think is a great idea to have the option to send to a client a presentation in .exe
so he/she can go around and enjoy the design...

Quest3d looks like Lumion3d shoud look. ;)
seems to be more individual and flexible. more like a 3d tool. with its gizmo and possiblities.
