Hi All! This is my first post. I am new to Lumion, but excited about the awesomeness!!
I am having a problem just placing trees into a new model that I just imported from Sketchup. I have been able to place trees in other models in the past.
I found this thread with a similar problem from 2011. http://lumion3d.com/forum/index.php?topic=1244.15 (http://lumion3d.com/forum/index.php?topic=1244.15)
I will have to have the company install the 32 bit version, and my deadline can't wait that long. Is there a solution for the problem of placing trees?
Graphics Card: Nvidia Quadro FX 3800M
i7 Windows 7 64 bit 8 GB RAM (Physical) 1 GB RAM (graphics)
Any suggestions would be a lifesaver!!!

There's no need to install the 32-bit version of Lumion - the bug in that thread is very old and was fixed ages ago.
Which version of Lumion are you using? 2.1 Build 4?

I actually got it to work!
The model in SketchUp was away from the origin (original position in case I needed to bring in any other linework). I moved it all back to 0,0,0 and that fixed my problem. I exported it out again and brought it into Lumion and was able to place in trees. Thought I would share my solution in case someone else has this problem in the future.
Thanks a ton for the help on a late Friday hour. I am looking forward to joining the community.
kais Jacob, thanks for the suggestion. I will update just in case I run into any other issues with it.
Morten, yes, we just installed it on my computer, so I should have the newest release (as of 2 weeks ago).

Aah yes, Lumion limits the area that you can place models in. There's more information here:

By the way, a new version was released yesterday (2.1 Build 4):

Cool! I will take a look at that link and have our IS guys download the latest version for me, too.
Thanks so much for your help!
