Hello.. i have a simple question.. can we change the color of emmisive material from white to any other? i have seen it in one of lumion competition video.. so howz it possobile

Yes you can and it's really easy. Emissive just boosts the base color of the model so to create a different color you just assign the texture color you want and boost it.

This is only using a single colour texture, right?

If so, is it just as easy, perhaps easier to just use the Color Material and increase the Overbright setting? As this ups the emissive as you don't then need to do the colour change in you modelling tool export and re-import or at minimum swap base colour textures, unless you are also using a normalmap for the surface. 

Presume there is no difference between the results of applying Overbright and Emissive?

You're right, if you just want the whole surface to glow, you can skip the texture-based solution.

The problem with the color material is that it uses diffuse shading so while you can define large diffuse colors for an emissive result the model will be black on parts facing away from the light source.
