Title: Reflection Control Object Issue
Post by: unsuns06 on July 18, 2014, 03:36:04 am
Hello Everyone !

First of all I want to thank the Lumion team they are doing ! It's just fantastic !

However, I'm facing an issue with Reflection Control Object :

In 4.5.1 changelog, you're saying : "The Reflection Control object is now restricted to Layer 0 only."

But I can't find that layer 0, so I can't place it :( No realistic reflections anymore. :/

Thanks for your help !

Hi unsuns06, Layer 0 is a layer which is used internally in Lumion (without user access) so it will always be visible, regardless of which layers you hide.

For that reason, you should be able to add the Reflection Control object without problems.

Can you elaborate a bit on what the problem is when you try to add the Reflection Control object to your scene?

I simply can NOT place it, when I click in order to do it nothing happens, the arrow keeps moving up and down and the object is not placed :(.

Is anybody else facing the same problem ?

That's presumably because you already placed it in the scene.
There can be only 1 Reflection Control object in the scene.

Please have another look with the Lights & Special Objects category selected - it should be fairly easy to locate it as the scale of this object remains the same regardsless of how far away the camera is from it.
