Title: [Answered] Water Fountain
Post by: Jason Griffiths on July 17, 2018, 02:01:01 pm
Hi,

Is there a way of creating your own water fountain / jet effects?

Can you import 3ds max particle effects to create?

Thanks,

Hi Jason, you can adjust the properties of some of the fountain objects (the ones that look like they're using particles).

However, it's not possible to import particle effects from other applications.

P.S. See also Gilson's animated fountains from 3DS Max (it's only possible to import standard objects with simple position/rotate/scale keyframes in Lumion, so it's a workaround/substitute for a real particle effect).

Hi Morten,

Thanks for your feedback,

Gilson's animated fountains are exactly what im looking for however it blocks me from the download page,

Is it because i am currently on a trial version?

Thanks,

Sorry about that, Jason - the assets sharing section is unfortunately not available for Guest/Trial users as there's a lot of very useful stuff there and it's only meant to be used by commercial & educational users.

I can ask Gilson if it's ok to provide the files to you via an external download link.

Alternatively, try sending him a private forum message.
