Title: Night activation property
Post by: thomaswf on July 04, 2014, 05:34:36 am
On the release note for Lumion4.5, it mentions about night activation property for spot and omni lights.
I have Lumion4.5.1 (paid version) but I can't find the night activation property anywhere when I select the light object. I basically want to be able to automatically turn on or off lights depending on the time of the day.

Can you explain to me what I am doing wrong?

Thank you.

Night Activation settings are part of the Light Properties, so use the Edit Properties (Pencil tool) to open the Dialogue, see attached pic.

This only applies to Spotlights, not Fill or Omni Lights.

If you do a multiple selection of lights first, then you can change a group all at once.

There is no time of day setting that you can specify.  The lights go on/off based on the time of day as set by the Sun Effect or Sun Study Effect.  In this way it's quick and automatic to get the results.
