Title: [Awaiting reply] Lumion Trial to Lumion Pro

If I am using the Lumion Test Trial version and want to demo the Lumion Pro version will my current Lumion Trial model transfer seamlessly to the Lumion Pro version?  Maintaining entourage elements, materials, etc?

Hi jschenck27.

It's unfortunately not possible to open scenes made in the Lumion 7.5 Trial version.

This is by design to prevent abuse of the license terms (i.e. using it for commercial purposes).

The 'Try' page does mention this limitation and we mention it on the 'Save Scene' tab in Lumion 7.5 Trial.

There is however a glimmer of hope: You can transfer imported models from Lumion 7.5 Trial to Lumion 8.0.

Here's how:

Locate the imported model files in 'Documents/LumionTrial 7.0/Library' and copy them to 'Documents/Lumion 8.0/Library'.

Then restart Lumion 8 if it was already running. The models will then be available in the 'Imported Model Library' browser, just like in version 7.5.

The rest of your scene configuration as well as your photos and movie clip settings unfortunately cannot be transferred.

Apologies for the inconvenience - I hope it won't take a long time to reconstruct the scene.

Lumion 7.5 stops to respond on the startup and gradually crash itself on my Win 10 PC. Any solution?
