Title: [Answered] Lumion Student Version to Lumion Trial Version
Post by: BlindParrot8 on April 24, 2018, 08:26:25 pm
Hello,
I have made a project through the Lumion student version 7.3 from a sketchup file. I have exported screenshots and they are nice quality, but the video i made is not good quality. I downloaded the Lumion 7.5 trial so i could export my model to a nicer quality video. How do i copy my model from the student version to the new Lumion 7.5 Trial version so i can export a high quality video? I have done a lot of work on the model in student version and do not have the time to restart the whole model in the Lumion 7.5 Trial version.
Thanks

Hi BlindParrot8, welcome to the Lumion Support Center. :)

If you are referring to the USA Student version, then sorry, the scene files are locked out only to that special version, so you'd have to finish your project in version 7.x, even though the video resolution is very limited (640x380).

Imported model files can however be moved from the 7.x Student version to the 7.5 Trial version by copying the files from 'Documents\Lumion 7.0\Library' to 'Documents\LumionTrial 7.0\Library'. Make sure to restart Lumion after copying the files, so that your imported models will show up in the model brwoser window in Lumion 7.5 Trial.

Are you aware of the fact that there is a Lumion 8 Student version without the video resolution limitation?

If not, please see this article for more details:
