Title: some questions ...
Post by: choochee on November 15, 2010, 02:09:34 pm
Helllo, Just looked at it and looks promising.

however, must ask some questions:

1) will lumion support ARC+ (gs1 or iii+ddd) ?

2) if I load a scene to lumion, render it.... and then have to change the geometry, will lumion be able to re-load and reference the materials, lights etc. for previous model to the updated one ?

3) network render... ?

1) No you will have to either export from your software to one of the supported formats or you will you will have to use a conversion program to convert to the supported file types

2) Yes. Lumion renders in real-time and and you can switch back and forth between programs and update the geometry when needed

3) Network rendering is not supported although I doubt you need it because it renders fast enough on a single PC. I've never seen a frame taking longer than 2 seconds. In real-time mode you usually get frame rates above 20 frames per second.
