cannot install Lumion, got this error: "code invalid or download manager outdated"

I just requested it today

Hi irvin_robledo

Please forward the Getting Started email to us here at : (EMAIL ADDRESS NO LONGER IN USE).  We will then test the download at a different PC than yours.

1. Did you copy/paste the Activation code or just let the auto-fill of the code occur via the browser?
2. Which browser are you using?

yes copy/paste without spaces
used mozilla and chrome to download
run as admin too

Hi irvin_robledo

I can confirm that your personal Download Manager and the Activation Code from your email are working as expected on my PC (see the screenshot below).

The error message you see is a generic message, and if your personal Download Manager and Activation Code are working fine on other PCs such as mine, it means that something on your computer or in your network is preventing the Download Manager from accessing the internet which means that the Activation Code cannot be verified online - and the download procedure can therefore not begin. :-\

In all previous reports like yours over the past 7 years, the problem was caused by too restrictive network/anti-virus/firewall/router settings.

Please follow these steps in our Knowledge Base article (Why is the Download Manager not working? (https://support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003474413-Why-are-Spotlights-not-casting-shadows-51)),

If those do not work, there is only one option left: run the Download Manager on a computer with less strict security, i.e. outside the office network, and then transfer the installation files back to the office network.

Could you let us know which anti-virus software and firewall software you're using in your location?
