Title: [Answered] Fade out Music ONLY
Post by: John_Waggs on October 31, 2017, 05:46:12 pm
Is there a way to fade out music at the end of my movie?

Hi John, WAV files do not automatically fade out over the last few seconds of your movie, so you would need to add keyframes.

Here are the instructions:

1) Click on 'Entire Movie' (the big button in the lower left corner in Movie mode)

2) Add a 'Sound' effect.

3) Select the WAV file (by clicking on the pencil button in the effect panel).

4) Add a couple of keyframes at the end of the clip to make the music fade out. The first keyframe, say, 3-5 seconds from the end, should be set to max volume, and the second keyframe at the end of the movie should be set to 0 volume (click here (https://support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003476013-How-do-you-animate-Movie-effects-) to see how to set keyframes).

5) Render the movie.

6) Open the MP4 file in a media player.

Hope this helps.
