Title: Revising and reinserting model to same location in scene
Post by: squid on May 02, 2014, 08:48:04 pm
I need to reinsert a model that has been revised back into a scene in the same exact location as it was.  How do I do this?

Hi squid, which version of Lumion are you using?

Please see LUMION 4: Tips, Tricks and Shortcuts (http://forum.lumion3d.com/f-a-q/lumion-4-tips-tricks-and-shortcuts/) - Hint: IMPORTING & UPDATING MODELS- Re-load Model and Reapply Materials.

If you needed to actually remove the old model, then just note down it's co-ordinates, and then use the Position input dialogue to set the newly added model.

I am using the free version 3.2.1.    I am trying to learn the basics as much as I can in the free version before  moving on to a full evaluation, which, as I'm sure you know, is only 10 days.

Thanks.  Yes you can use and work with Lumion v3.2.1 Free as it covers most things found in the more recent version 4.

Did you have success in updating your model OK?
