Title: Demo installation

I've filled out the form for the demo installation yet nothing happens.  I did not get the installation link in me email.

Hi vernon, the Lumion Demo 5.3 emails are sent automatically, so if you haven't received it there's most likely something at your end which is preventing the email from arriving. The first step is to make sure that [email protected] is whitelisted in your email software. Then have a look in the Spam folder, in case your email software has put the email in quarantine (since it contains a link to an executable file, i.e. the Download Manager for Lumion).

By the way, I ought to mention that Lumion Demo 5.3 is about 1 3/4 years old by now and quite limited.

As a better alternative, I would recommend that you click here (https://support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003469714-Is-there-a-Trial-version-of-Lumion-) and follow the instructions to get the fully functional 7-day Trial version of Lumion Pro 6.5.1. This version includes everything that is available in the commercial version, and supports all the latest CAD software such as Revit 2017, SketchUp 2016 etc. Support for ArchiCAD 20 is currently under development.

To ensure a smooth evaluation period, please also make sure that your PC meets or exceeds the minimum system requirements (https://support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003476793-What-kind-of-computer-does-Lumion-need-), and that the latest graphics card drivers and all Windows updates have been installed (even optional ones). Otherwise Lumion Pro 6.5.1 will not work.

I am having trouble in that I have filled out the form to download the demo and upon clicking the 'Get Demo' button at the bottom of the page, nothing happens - it doesn't give any sort of confirmation that an email has been sent. I have tried this on 3 email addresses (work and 2 personal) and still nothing in any of them. I was hoping you could help me out by either suggesting what I can do or by sending me a link directly ?

Hi hlpnotts, apologies but the developers are updating that page at the moment, so the "Get Demo" button is currently not working.

As mentioned in my previous post, I would recommend that you request a 7-day Trial version instead as that's the latest version of Lumion and it includes the full Model and Material Library.

Alternatively, please wait until this forum thread is updated again when the work has been completed. :)
