Hi,
Does anybody know if/how we can show some Emirati (or any middle-eastern for argument's sake) people in Lumion instead of the usual westerners ? this seems to (rightfully) put off some of or ME clients which is a shame as they love everything else about the visuals.
I know we can potentially get 3D models of individual people, but taking that our site is couple of square kilometres and we need to show a few hundreds of people - this seems a bit infeasible, especially as we need to show some crowds and need to have a variety.
Cheers

Hi taisenberg, to make a long story short, your best bet is to buy some 'pre-posed' 3D people from a 3rd party supplier.
Let me know if you need links.

Links will be most appreciated - thanks in advance.

Note that for import to Lumion, characters can only be static poses, no animations (user import not currently supported).
Also, if requiring to place 100's of characters, ensure that they are not extreme high polygon, so that Lumion can handle things better. LOD characters may be available from some of the suppliers. Closeness to camera will also determine resolution quality needed.
Where possible, duplicate (make instances) within Lumion to make a crowd, rather than trying lots of unique separate models. This helps with performance aspects in Lumion.
