Title: Walk trough in Lumion with controller?
Post by: GuillaumeMaas on May 19, 2016, 12:59:09 am
Hi,

maybe it's already reported on the forum, if this is so. I apologize.
a fellow student of mine want to use CryEngine because of the next feature.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hb4N8m5jAfE

I think it Lumion works faster to prepare everything etc. etc.
Especially since the computer will be better and faster making this easier to do in the future and investing in a more difficult program to learn and cost in my opinion, is not that wise.

Yet it would be nice if in the future, Lumion can handle this in future version of MyLumion.
Walking trough your scne with controller, with moving clouds/water/grass/people/cars (maybe as an .gif file ?)

Hi GuillaumeMaas

Thanks for the feedback.

I can't quite tell from that video, but it looks like the Cryengine is running the scene.

Lumion can already do that, and show realtime 3D scenes by using the Lumion Viewer.  The only difference is navigation is by way of keyboard and mouse.  The Lumion Viewer is available to Lumion Pro users for presentation to clients.  It is something that must be run from a PC, not run or streamed etc over the internet via a browser.

Hi GuillaumeMaas

As I mentioned the Lumion Viewer is a Pro only product.  I'm not aware of any video, no.

It is similar to using the Play Feature that is available in the Educational and Educational Pro versions.

The end user can have the movie clips played back in realtime, or pause the movie to navigate around.
