I have a good Acer laptop with a I5 Pentium dual core processor and a Radeon graphics card onboard.
Is this sufficient to run Lumion with or will I be in jeopardy of frying my chipset and motherboard from the overheat while running and creating these renderings with the Lumion version 5?
I run the raytraces and the renderings from Chief Architect and it works fine.
Thx,

Hi dcb1234, please have a look at this Knowledge Base article (https://support.lumion.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003476793-What-kind-of-computer-does-Lumion-need-) to see if your PC is suitable for Lumion.
ATI and Nvidia graphics card only overheat if the cooling system is inadequate. If that happens, the PC simply reboots.

Hi Sam, you're right. your laptop PC is also recommended in this blog post (https://lumion3d.com/blog.html?post=140273296055).
Many of our users also swear by Origin PCs (https://www.originpc.com/gaming/desktops/) (the gaming PCs, not the Pro series with Xeon CPUs).
