Title: Lumion3d: What Rendering Engine Does it Use?
Post by: gretty on February 11, 2014, 03:51:19 am
Hello

I just discovered Lumion3d and am quite impressed with the software :D I develop computer games and the graphics look fantastic!

What is the software used to develop Lumion3d? To me is looks like Unity3d which is a 3d Game Engine or maybe Lumion3d have made their own engine?

Does anyone know what the application is developed in? I'd love to develop games that look like this.

Lumion uses Quest3D as it's core 3d engine.

Act-3D developed Quest3D (long before Unity was even being thought of) as a general 3d authoring tool which used an innovative graph based approach to code structure for developers.

On top of that there's lots of work with shaders and other developments.
