Title: Google Maps
Post by: millerdam1 on January 11, 2016, 10:53:47 pm
I'm new to this Lumion Forum, so forgive me if the question has already been asked and answered. My question; Can you use something like Google Earth to pin point a location for your project that Lumion would be able to use the existing terrain / existing building around your project. I would like to drop in my model and do the work as if it was on site.

I don't think Lumion offers this as it is only rendering tool and not modeling tool.

If you were working with a popular city such as Boston you could go and download existing 3D buildings and topography from the redevelopment authority website and bring them in separate.
