Title: Lumion Startup issue - "Channel not found in installation skipping load routine"

Hi,

I have the paid version of Lumion, it's been working fine up until today when I now get a message saying "Channel not found in installation skipping load routine" during startup, I click ok on this error message then another message appears with what looks like my license code.

Each time you click ok on either message the next one pops up immediately after and Lumion does not open, it just sticks on the startup screen.

Any ideas why this issue has suddenly happened? And more importantly how I fix it?

I've tried restarting my laptop but its made no difference.

Any help/suggestions much appreciated.

Interesting, was yours all fine yesterday or several hours ago?
Maybe its an issue at Lumion's end.

No, everything was Ok untill today. i worked fine yesterday, but not this morning. I haven't shut down my computer this night, Lumion stopped working without any new soft installed, no new version of anything,.... But i'm really late on my project, i can't loose my afternoon with this error!!!!

Please, we need help!!!!!

Please try running Lumion again.  Can't see this happening here when run it.

If you run Avast AV:

for Guest users:

seems theres an issue if you are an Avast AV user:

The latest Avast Anti-virus quarantines 7805644A-FB2C-4BA2-8A8B-3D73D441D338.dll - > Lumion stops working.

If you are able to restore that DLL from Avast quarantine list, and set Avast to recognise Lumion is safe or to ignore this DLL, then hopefully that will fix things in interim.  We will need to send a note to Avast.

There are no other products that do this....NONE! 

If you are running network servers in a commercial environment there is third party software that Microsoft will endorse (read their knowledge base) but otherwise you are wearing the (emperor's clothing, nothing) with your home PC.
