Title: Hardware options to try free version before deciding to buy
Post by: rajenkjain on July 29, 2013, 11:36:48 am
Found the product interesting based on information available and would like to try the free version to decide to buy full version. However, I have a challenge on hardware that is needed to try even the free version as I do not have that config hw at this point. My question - what are the options available, any hosted service options that can be leveraged (AWS??) and how to go about it?

THanks

Hi rajenkjain

Thanks for your interest in Lumion.

Note that the Free version has the same PC spec requirements as the full/licensed versions, so it gives you a good idea of ability and requirements.

There's no hosted services.  Lumion utilises the desktop/workstation/higher end laptop, leveraging the power of the local GPU.  So it is geared towards those that have the hardware in place, or can upgrade equipment at time of purchasing Lumion, to meet the type of 3d visualization projects they want to undertake.

Also, let us know what your PC specs are.
