QUESTION
How do you replace the sky with a photo?

ANSWER
This is easily done if you have access to Adobe Photoshop.

01) Add a camera keyframe to a new clip.

02) Render a BMP format image:

Create a movie from clip -> Single tab -> Save Single shot



03) Hide any Movie effects that change the contrast, saturation etc, for example Analog Color Lab, Vignette, Color Correction etc by clicking on the Wrench button follow by the Hide option:



04) Render a sky alpha map in BMP format:

Create a movie from clip -> Single tab -> Custom output -> Custom -> A (Save sky alpha map)





05) Add a duplicate of the sky alpha map to a new layer in the still image in Adobe Photoshop:



06) Select the sky alpha map layer and in the top menu, choose:

Select -> Select Color Range -> Set Fuzziness to 200 -> Click on the black part of the image - > OK



07) Hide the sky alpha map layer.

08) Top menu -> Edit -> Copy Merge.

09) Top menu -> Edit -> Paste.

10) Hide the "Background" layer:



11) In a new layer below your cut-out building layer, paste a sky photo of your choice and adjust it as desired:
