I am rendering a video 3 start but I can't understant why my clouds are rendering yellow? Is this an issue with the volume clouds?

Hi Gordon NHS

Which version of the Trial are you using? See Where Can I Find the Lumion Product and Version Details

Also, can you attach to a post a screencapture of the settings for the Volume Clouds Effect and Sun Effect

At 3 Star render quality for a movie the Volume Clouds should look fine, just not full anti-aliased quality of 5 Star.  I'm not aware of any issue with discoloring when the sun is near the horizon.

Hi Gordon, to add to what Peter said, this is not a known issue.

The sky is also too blue in my opinion.

It's either caused by a specific effect combination in Photo/Movie mode, or by outdated system software.

1. Try to turn the effects off and render another image. Is the sunset less yellow? If so, try to isolate the effect that's causing the problem, for example the 'Color Correction' effect.

2. Please make sure that all available Windows updates and the latest driver for the graphics card have been installed:

Knowledge Base article: How do you install the latest system software required to run Lumion?

If the problem persists, please follow step 4 in the article to attach a diagnostics report.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I think the PC I'm using is up to date and I'm using lumion version 7.1

The effects used are pictured below . The omitted page only has things like layer on/off that I assume wouldn't affect rendering.

I redid the render for a portion of the clip with no effects only 2point pers. The image is also attached. I also did the sa?e with noeffects the reflections on the clouds disappeared as I'm assuming there were no more volume or horizon clouds.  However when I reduced the quality to two stars the color of the sunlight makes sense.

Thanks for the update.

1. Please attach a diagnostics report as mentioned in step 2 above.

2. Please upload the Lumion scene to a file host, e.g. WeTransfer.com, and forward the download link to uploads[at]lumion.com (replace [at] with @). Please also let us know which clip number to render.

3. Please follow these instructions to register your Lumion 7 license:

Knowledge Base article: How do you register your License Key and get technical support?

You will then need to just send us a quick email to uploads[at]lumion.com (replace [at] with @) that you have registered, so we can move this topic to the correct Support Board and get things under way.  Once you have done that you will get access to the full Support Center, but will not be able to see this topic until we have moved it.

Thanks in advance.
