Nicolasweh,
I appreciate your efforts to showcase the design aspects, not necessarily the tools or medium used. Please keep them coming! Having said that I found the follow on discussion very interesting, esp. Since India is about a 3 hour flight from where I live (UAE).
I have worked for three major international Architectural & Planning companies, and India and China remain popular places to get relatively cheap render outputs. No criticisim of Lumion intended, but for now some clients what Rolls Royce quality renders and walkthroughs, as clients are still willing to pay big $$ for this, and 3D Max and VRay are where they will remain focussed, not until they can be convinced that can save on time and cost.
Having said this, and this is yet to be proven, Lumion 2 will certainly up the game, esp. now that one has flexibility to move lighting, and do night shots.
