I am not posting this in the "official" wish list section as I do not think it would be considered as a serious wish at this stage of development - it's rather some cool stuff and Lumion made me think and "wish".

While the video is on, use your mouse to "navigate around" 3D space like in an interactive panorama (you can also pause the video and look around).

Would it not be über-cool? ;)

Hehe neat idea - it's a QuickTime Panorama on steroids :)

I wonder how much bigger the 360 degree video file is compared to a standard video in terms of deployment to clients?

One potential downside is that the Making View player requires Flash so deploying to iOS devices, such as iPads etc, won't work right out of the box (although you can now buy browsers on the App Store that do support Flash).

That being said, it's a seriously cool experience, and probably reminds some of us of playing a 1st person game.

I would even love to see Lumion render static panorama images. I think I dropped a line about it in the wish list section already but probably not as a "standalone" wish just a comment somewhere. Maybe I will now...

That looks like an Expensive Camera, to create panorama video......but very nice.

How WIDE can you push the Lumion Camera , before it starts to look weird beyond 10 ?

+1. We'd like to render 2:1 equirectangular panoramic still images with Lumion to be used on a site like this: http://www.virtualtampere.com/
