i want to build a pc that can RUN lumion..
my plan build
i3 6100/i3 4170
H110/H81 mobo
8GB ram
500watt psu(no OC)
&
GTX 970
im not about the render time, i can render on my laptop with i7...
i need to just RUN Lumion
i know that i3 will bottleneck 970 a little,(in games)especially when games uses only 2cores..
i choose i3 and gtx 970 over i5 gtx 960 for the reason that gtx 970 has good feedback from lumion users.... and i don't know how gtx 960 works with lumion, (with complex scenes(many trees, building with streets, a large building))
i know the passmark points, i just dont know how the numbers there relate to lumion, of course higher is better.. i just need some clarifications.
so the questions are:
-what is the role of processor in lumion?
-how i3 works in lumion compared to i5/i7 in build mode(not video rendering/photo)? i only know in games that if a game uses only 2 cores, there's not much difference with higher processors
-comparing gtx 960 and gtx 970. lumion benchmark shows only GPU memory.
to be honest, again, i dont understand the passmark points perform in lumion. may be i can understand in "FPS" like games.
if GTX 960 is 25FPS, how much will the GTX 970?? i don't need exact numbers.,assume is ok., i just understand the FPS thing..
-how ram works in lumion? more is better, but is 8GB enough?
-the GPU memory or vram?, as far as i know, it works on textures
note: if i3+gtx 960 will do, much better
tnx
