I hope Lumion won't "overpack" us.
With packs there is always a question of compatibility with future versions of the main program. Does it mean I will have to buy an update for a pack to be compatible with fe Lumion v5, as it was the situation with 3d Studio plug ins?
Then after a while you will incorporate packs into the main program and the original pack buyer will feel "outpacked".
Ok, we're all here to make money.
If I had to decide about the selling strategy for Lumion3D I would push for mass sales of the program itself. Beef it up instead of dilluting it with multi packs. Keep the price of the main program competitve, go into numbers. All functions (light control, fx, movie editing, sound) should be in the program, not packs. In packs you can sell object models fe people (there is a lot of potential in improving the look of the people you have...) in all kind of variations (shopping, leisure, beach, casual, business, travelling, etc.), vehicules of all kinds (driving, flying, swimming), situation packs (airport, train station, hospital, industry), furniture pack, etc.
Concentrate on all kinds of import exchange formats, especially for popular software fe Sketchup or Bonzai (still an underdog but much better than Sketchup)(btw Bonzai /Autodessys could use a boost in the animation sector, team up with it). Just an idea.
Don't get into so many packs. Compatibility with future versions is the key so no function packs, just object packs.
