Wheres the geometry?

I was hoping to evaluate the free version of Lumion but have hit a snag. I was able to export what I thought was a Caollada model file. When I navigate to the exported model while in Lumion all I see is a folder named the same as my export; however, the only thing in the file is Textures/Material stuff, wheres the geometry? I realize I'm using the free version which is not the same as the SP version in the demo but I think I've done what is expected.

While setting up the export I selected "use selection" I also checked the export two faces...

today I also downloaded and installed the latest M2 release for SK8 Pro. This maintenance release was targeted specificlly for improvements in exports for Collada. Has anyone had  issue with exporting and loading into Lumion via the M2 release?

Thanks all

The Collada file exported from SkUp should have the .dae geometry file and a subfolder for textures.  Haven't yet tested the new M2 with SkUp Pro yet, but other users report all is OK.

When you add a new model in Lumion you need to make sure the file dialogue is displayng the file types required.  So select from the file type drop down and you should see the .dae file for the Collada geometry in the root folder of the export.

Note the (older) tutorial video 3 for Importing shows a dialogue that has *.* All files, this is not in the current version.  The dialogue file filter defaults to Object Files .dae, .fbx, so you should be seeing the Collada file in the root folder above the texture export folder.

Perhaps there's an issue as you mentioned with the "use selection" when exporting, must have a play with the new M2.

installed M2, selection seems OK, but only tried one quick test
