Hello lovely people!
I am looking to build a Pc but not limited for Lumion Pro.
I have a few questions (I have read benchmarks and reviews, bought magazine's, gone through Lumion's spec) that only the users can really answer properly...
I understand the i-7 Haswell range are considered the top quality stuff for gaming but is it the same for modelling and rendering? I know Lumion uses the GPU but it still needs the CPU for things... is the Xeon range better suited???
also GPU wise, the spec graph still has the GTX Titan at the top post... from my research the 780ti is much better all around, is that the same principle for lumion?
My spec will probably be something like:
Case:Coolermaster HAF-XM
Psu:Corsair Modular 850W
Motherboard:Asus Sabertooth
CPU:Intel I7 4770k Overclocked
CPU Cooler: H80i
RAM: 16 Corsair Vengence 1600Mhz
Graphics cards:Asus GeForce GTX 780ti
SSD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB
HDD: Seagate 4TB
Bluray: Pioneer 15X BDXL Drive
Am I making any mistakes here??? I want to use the rig for Revit when I finish learning that properly and maybe 3ds max.. I do not want to waste money on something that is not good for any of them.
Can someone help or at least list the spec of their own computer? I see my models being complex so I need high end stuff.. budget is £3000
Thankyou in advance
Best
Chris
