1- There is a way to control de opacity of the glass material?
There's no dedicated opacity slider at the moment. The darker the glass is, the less transparent it will be.
2- How to do a alpha channel material to control de opacity?
Import a model with a diffuse texture that includes an alpha channel, (eg, a 32-bit TGA texture).
Lumion currently only supports 1-bit alpha channels (black pixels = invisible, White = visible)). Greyscale tones in the alpha channel will be rounded up to 100% white or rounded down to 100% black.
If your model already is in Lumion, just apply a
Standard material to it, load the texture with the alpha channel (
Texture tab -> Change Diffuse Texture) and set the
Reflection or Clip slider to
Clip (the maximum slider value) to turn on alpha clipping.
3- Can I control the proyections of the materials applied?, that is, seems to be a rectangular proyection, can we apply a spherical or cylindrical proyection?, and can we control de size of the material in the X and Y and Z axis?....
No, more advanced texture mapping needs to be applied in your 3D modelling application. Then use the
Reload model button to update the model in Lumion.
