To activate Lumion free - turn off protections

Hi,
For those who experience log in error when activating in Windows XP:
After installing Lumion free, the first startup demands a login to activate it. For this to work, I needed to temporarily switch OFF my ZoneAlarm and Avast Antivirus (two of the "hottest" malware protections). The following startups of Lumion, however,do accept their normal ON status.
(Maybe this is applicable to all Lumion activations, I don't yet know).

Hi OC, you shouldn't have to turn them off completely - most firewalls should prompt you so you get a chance to let Lumion through the firewall.

The advice about firewalls is also available here:

Thanks for answer Morten,

To manage the firewall settings correctly, as you say, feels certainly much, much safer than just turning it off. Now that I know it works, I will put some effort to it. Since I will use Lumion quite a lot in the future, this seems to be a good way of learning to use it correctly from the beginning.
