A new Titan graphics card is on the way:

"TITAN X, built on the company’s Maxwell architecture, has eight billion transistors, a 12GB framebuffer and took thousands of engineer-years to build."

It has 3.072 shader units, the 12GB RAM is running at 3GHz and and the performance in games is supposedly about 1/3 better than a GTX 980. The price is estimated to be around 1.000 Euros

Thanks for the news Morten  :).

You have to wonder about statements like "and took thousands of engineer-years to build" sometimes  :D.

Anyway sounds like at least summer or later release time.  Hopefully no more than previous Titan pricing.

Still waiting for the GTX 980 8GB  ::)

I think this means the 980 8GB is even less likely. Titans are just crazy, surely they would sell more units ditching this and releasing a higher memory version of their consumer cards.
