When you have a building with a lot (54) docklevelers. Does it make a difference to import them all with 1 Colladaexport from Revit or is it better to import 1 and copy them in Lumion?

Rendertime or overall preformance?

Or is it just a lot of extra work with no bennefit.

It should not affect render times (to my knowledge, Morten will know for sure).

If the performance drop, you can simply reduce the build mode quality settings to 75/50/25% to work smoother.

I would try first to import all and check the performance and render an start a video render, and see how many sec pr frame it takes, then press "escape" button to cancel the render.

Hi Thorhill, Ferry says that 1 big surface will most likely be faster than 54 smaller duplicates - on most graphics cards.

That being said, there's no harm done in carrying out a test (as Truls suggested) :)
