The Last of US
Looking for the new games entry and i saw this one, really cool, amazing light, very realistic...
so what about Lumion??is closer to reach this in the next update

Just don't forget to hire yourself a staff of 40+ talented modelers, texture-artists, shader coders to get even remotely started, then throw a couple of millions their way and you're off for a very promising future. Shouldn't take you more then the odd couple of years to get your 1st demo out

This means that Lumion doesn't meet the necessary criteria, both in staff team and engineers, then your wait is in vain for a new uprdate while some initial brand elements to this product feel and are very unrealistic starting from the camera & reflex, providing a reality as a old video-game.....etc... so this is the same bullshit the same people that only justify on this product and nothing more... there aren't news, not exist and there is no evidence, other than speculation that this product will have an update and where consist of points, there is  no one undertakes to say which are ....so the Last of Lumion still remain Inexistent

suffering from anger issues. Just a thought? Running also helps. Just be careful not to run into

Biggest anomaly here is transparency, I hope that it will come to light, do not abuse with the game pleasure that Lumion give, cos it sucks, but being pleasure to give a professional product with a deserve price

By the way Lumion is a bad engine game, Lumion performance compares with this game leaves very bad, so much effort for the staff not for the opinions coming thru the forum

As you hopefully recall, I already explained why we can't (and won't) announce all 3.0 features prematurely. You will have to be patient like everyone else

We want to announce the v3.0 feature set as soon as we are 100% sure that all the features will be ready in time for 3.0.

The reason is that when you program new features, it is not always a straight line from A to B, so you can't always predict how long it's going to take.

We don't want people to base future purchases of Lumion on promises that may or may not be fulfilled, so we have to avoid announcing upcoming features that have not yet been implemented.

Another contributing factor is that we prefer to make major announcements in one go in order to maximise the impact (newsletter, press release, forum announcement etc). If we start to announce some of the v3.0 features in the forum, we will dilute the impact and the final press release etc might no longer be newsworthy.

In other words, please stay tuned until we are ready to officially announce 3.0.

We're not going to change this approach, regardless of how inconvenient it is for you.

While we're always open to suggestions, I have to say that you're not being particularly constructive with your criticism Saying that a product is 'bad' is far too vague to make this feedback useful for those who make the product. Performance will depend on which graphics card you have and how complex a scene you're making. There's more information on performance and render time here:

If you mean 'bad' in terms of graphical fidelity/realism, I would recommend that you don't waste your energy on telling us how 'bad' Lumion is. Your time and effort is probably better spent on learning to use UDK or CryEngine if you're looking for the ultimate solution for real-time graphics.

See it, the great politician is coming again im not impatient, but the choose between Lumen vs Lumion is something that makes me think, tending what new feature will bring the latest update of Lumion. till than im watching this

If Lumion is so bad in so many regards (price, performance, realism etc), you are wasting your time in this forum. It's clear that there is no way we will ever be able to make Lumion match your requirements, so I would advise you to use other software instead.

Lumion is not a game. Lumion does not have a 20 million dollar budget. Lumion is our best effort with a small budget to get as far as possible for Architects. We don't expect to have AAA game profits.

Sorry, but it seems that you are mainly interested in telling everyone how bad Lumion is. As I wrote in the other thread, we already know that lumion isn't perfect and there is plenty of room for improvement. Otherwise, we would never have to release new updates.

We have an internal list of features that are being developed for Lumion 3, but we choose not to disclose it for the reasons that I have already provided above. You can disagree all you want but announcing upcoming features that are not yet fully implemented is a terrible business decision, as we'd risk lawsuits and compensation claims.

Please read my earlier posts again. Judging by your negative feedback, it is clear that Lumion does not meet your expectations, and given the size of our team compared to major game developers, there is no way we can live up to your expectations, even in Lumion 3/4/5 etc. This is not likely to change, so to save you some time/energy, you should choose software that do live up to your expectations, instead of waiting for something that may or may not materialise in the future.
