Great stuff here, this is how You do, getting rid off persons who are interested for a quality product to have the rights of information and the bad answers is that you dont know how to answer, please keep quiet, market is full of possibilities to choose, so the LAST OF LUMION  is STILL REMAIN A BAD BAD GAME,  with Moderators which seems Crawler and not professional.
"Rome Wasn't Built in a Day" better you stop with these useless questions and requests, just try another way spend your time and give effort to your own. Lumion is really our best friend and has make the Revolution in Real-Time Rendering, giving us the Time to product our work so fast...Stunning Renders in Second, and HD Quality movies which no one hasn't done it before.

Comparing game-engines to Lumion |:(

Did you know a license for CryEngine 3 is $1.2 million? That's versus Lumions €2999,-.

Lumion is a spectacular piece of software which is developing into a very rounded solution to many an Architect's challenge to deliver 3d visualisation in both still and animated formats in a very short time. I last felt this good about a piece of software was when I discovered Sketchup (version 2 then by @last software) and look where that went  :). Good luck to you guys developing Lumion. I think I speak for the majority in saying I'm sure release 3.0 will be worth waiting for. I'm personally hoping the reflection issues will be sorted out as much of my work involves interiors. Once that's done I'll be more than happy to part with my $2999.

In my opinion, they are two completely different situations...
In one hand we have Lumion... a stable tool, that accepts large scenes with lots polygons without crash, and it is totaly user friendly... this tool have some defects, like reflections we know, but its far from being a "bad" software... Lumion is a very new software, and we know that it haves a lot of space for improvements... and they are coming, just notice how the features has being improved in the upgrades, and you will see what i am talking about...
In the other hand, we have softwares that have being developed for many years now, powered by huge companys with million of dollars to spend... like UDK and Cryengine... we can´t compare those two situations in the same basis of criticism... it would be unfair... Lumion will grow up in quality and features, as long we support it, helping to develop the tool with racional analisys based in ponderation.
Just bare in mind, that Lumion is not Vray / Mental ray and you will be happy, like the rest of us... one day we will have reflections, turntables and exe files to run in our clients pcs... at least i hope so... just wait and we´ll see...  :)

And is any effort going to Quest3d?
(sorry for answering here but seems Act3d only pay attention to Lumion forum and Quest3d is abandoned)

There is effort going to Quest3D if that is in favor of Lumion and other in-house use. We won't put any notable effort in development for public purposes.
And who are you to say that? Cause i don't see any Lumion Staff icon under your user name. So wondering who is saying these.

I see. Well we are mostly asking for several important bug fix not any specific stuff from lumion. However in terms of OO things are a bit more complicated.

If you think that is serious, taking in mind Quest3d5 was sold and purchased by its users few months ago. It is sad also, Quest3d users get only an answer when asking at Lumion forum.

Constructive suggestion: Would it cost so much having 1 person in Act3d team dedicated to mantain (and supporting through forum) Quest3d? IMO Quest3d has still a great community and, otherwise, Lumion users may think they will get similar support if Act3d start to think in a different product.

I am a Quest3D (Lumion developed with Quest3D, perhaps everybody know that) user since 2004 and this is how we are ending up. I would not put more comment on this issue cause as you can imagine it might get very nasty. But seriously this is not fair. And its not just me. I understand why act3d decided like this, but there should be few bytes of morality is cyber space too, or its not?

I'm watching around a bunch of fans who're affected by several observations or thoughts that I had for this kind of game product like Lumion. I respect all the ideas of every one but i don't understand what is this kind of judgment toward me.You're killing me with reputation, i don't even care this bullshit. The white is white and i don't call black. So Lumion Still is a Game without Futures, i don't even care to buy this joke, even i was skeptic,  now i decide not to buy it; some are selling licences cos are disappointed, some other are playing making stupids films cos this is all that Lumion can offer nothing more than a game, even in a game you have much more reality and options to change mode etc. This is a charade campaign with offers that are not worth any penny...even in Lumion 3..only some extra trees, cars and characters and the others main features....lets hope for a vain miracle.
take care and down same more reputations cos i see that moderators & some Porno users are dictators of free speech and thoughts.
