Testing Lumion for my office

I'm testing out lumion for our office and am deciding which programs to suggest to the principals to purchase and it looks like the only way to get support is posting through this forum?  Once you buy a license is there actual support or is everything run through this forum?

I downloaded the trial version and have zero luck importing my model, are there any limitations to the demo version of lumion that would make sketchup files not import?   I've used lumion in the past and never had any issues until trying the demo version today.

Hi Groundlevel, technical support is exclusively available via the forum.

However, until you register a commercial license you won't be able to see the full forum in which we have a variety of sub-sections, e.g. License & Installation Questions, Feedback & Ideas, Asset Sharing etc.

Regarding the demo version, it's version 5.3 which is quite old by now. It doesn't include the full model and material library and does not support SketchUp 2016 files (which was released after Lumion 5.3). As a workaround just save the SketchUp file as version 2015 via Save As in the File menu in SketchUp 2016.

We actually offer a fully functional 7-day trial version via your local reseller. This is the latest version 6.0.1 which does support SketchUp 2016 files. If you're serious about evaluating Lumion I would strongly recommend that you test that version instead :)
